Our Story

At SacTacos.com, we believe tacos aren’t just food — they’re a way to bring people together. For over a decade, we’ve been serving up some of Sacramento’s most authentic, mouthwatering taco catering, led by founder Carlos Montoya, whose roots run deep from Jalisco, Mexico to the heart of the 916.

Carlos started Sac Tacos with a plancha, a handful of family recipes, and a passion for feeding people. What began as a small operation catering backyard parties has grown into one of the region’s most in-demand taco catering services, earning features in The Sacramento Bee, Fox40 News, and countless local events. Through it all, we’ve stayed true to what matters: bold flavors, great service, and a whole lot of local love.

Carlos is a very kind person that is dedicated to providing amazing service at a reasonable price. His staff is extremely professional, on-time and carefully setup exactly to your needs. Sac Tacos had many options and price points. The buffet style happened to be the best option for our event. Carlos also had many options for me to pay, which made it a smooth process. He has now catered 2 Quinceanera's and a promotion ceremony for us. The food was a HUGE HIT every time!! We received nothing but compliments on the food quality.
